Streetlight Society - Don't Quantize My Shit

DQMS stands for Don't Quantize My Shit, which alludes to the fact that the feel, groove, and human element often gets looked over in music production. In contrast to "quantizing", this pack emphasizes the human imperfections and nuances that arise during the creative process.
We compiled these sounds from season 2 of our DQMS video series. The challenge was to make beats and sample packs using items and records from a thrift store. Thus, the season was rightfully titled, "Goodwill Hunting". This stipulation really challenged us to innovate and we ended up recording clicky percs from plastic toys, bells from a children's xylophone and tea cups,  sound fx from talking action figures, synths from what resembled a Guitar Hero guitar, bongos from drums that looked like they came straight out of Donkey Kong and much more.

Have fun with these! Samples for the people!
