What's good?

I'm Holden, a basement dwelling psychology guru currently in a relationship with vinyl samples. I work with my friend Sam, a PBR drinking drummer with an affinity for sociology. Together we form Streetlight Society, a creative duo from Milwaukee that produces organic sample packs, sounds, and compositions.

Our mission is to provide music producers with meaningful building blocks for their musical imagination. We are constantly trying to capture the emotions and life experiences that are best explained through the language of sound. Through our experimental recording process, we explore the dynamics between eccentric and conteporary musical pallettes. Everytime the journey is different, and everytime we don't know how the story will end. Will it be a thumping kick that rumbles the hood of the hoopdie driving down the boulevard? Will it be a snare that snaps like the jump ropes kids twirl when playing double dutch? Will it be a synthesizer that buzzes like the queen of the hive: calculated, confident, opulent? This is the magic of creativity!
